VMC operator — Union County

Now hiring: we are hiring a VMC operator in Union County, Kentucky. You will be based in a die and mould making unit. You will carry out daily lubrication and routine machine maintenance; read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence; set tool offsets and the work zero (G54) using an edge finder or probe; hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm. Ideal candidate: • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Proficient with micrometers, vernier callipers and dial gauges • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces Part-time with flexible hours.
