Vacancy available: we are hiring a press operator in Bennington County, Vermont. You will work on the press shop floor. What we are looking for: • Familiar with die setting and quick tool changes • Knowledge of press safety, guarding and lockout-tagout Your main tasks: • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Clear scrap and offcuts from the die area • Punch, blank, pierce, bend and form sheet metal components • Check stamped parts against drawings using vernier calipers and gauges • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Load metal sheets, blanks and coils onto the press bed At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
