CNC milling operator — Calhoun County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a CNC milling operator in Calhoun County, Illinois. You will work at an automotive components factory. On a typical shift you will machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing; set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter; apply cutting coolant and clear swarf from the machine bed; monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters; keep in-process inspection records and log production counts. You should have: • Physically fit to stand and lift workpieces • Good eyesight and steady hands for close-tolerance work • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Part-time with flexible hours.
