Road roller operator • Leelanau County, Michigan

Now hiring: we are hiring a road roller operator in Leelanau County, Michigan. The job is at a stone quarry. On a typical shift you will stockpile and spread material to the required levels; keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines; read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles; grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift; break rock and concrete with the hydraulic breaker attachment. You should have: • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services • Valid heavy equipment / plant operator licence 4+ years on the tools preferred. $3,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Meals and transport allowance provided. Rotating shifts. Walk-in interviews this week.
