We are recruiting: we are hiring a baker in Motley County, Texas. You will work at a café with an on-site bakery. Day-to-day duties: • Laminate puff and croissant dough by folding in the butter • Boil sugar syrup for glazes and icing • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight • Prove dough in the proofer at the right temperature and humidity • Proof and fry doughnuts, then glaze them You should have: • Able to lift 25 kg flour sacks • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
