Ladle pourer wanted in Hamblen County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a ladle pourer in Hamblen County, Tennessee. The job is at a brass and bronze foundry. Day-to-day duties: • Assemble cope and drag mould halves and clamp them together • Shot-blast castings to clean off burnt sand and scale • Make and bake sand cores for the internal cavities • Prepare green-sand moulds and ram the sand into the moulding boxes • Inspect castings for cold shuts, blowholes and shrinkage defects You should have: • Understanding of safe slinging and crane-ladle signalling • Basic grinding and fettling skills Six days a week, one day off. Meals and transport allowance provided. Walk-in interviews this week.
