Cold store insulation technician — McCormick County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a cold store insulation technician in McCormick County, South Carolina. The job is on a construction site. On the job you will handle: • Install vapour barriers and seal all joints and overlaps with tape • Fix XPS and EPS boards to external walls with adhesive and mechanical anchors • Install fire-stopping and fire-rated insulation around penetrations • Lag hot and cold water pipes with rockwool sections and aluminium cladding • Measure and cut insulation boards neatly around pipes, ducts and openings Ideal candidate: • Good knowledge of rockwool, XPS, EPS and PU foam • Able to read construction drawings and specifications At least 4 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. $18 per hour, negotiable for the right hands. Contact us to fix an interview.
