Join our team: we are hiring a banksman in Duval County, Texas. Your main tasks: • Read lift plans and method statements before starting • Take part in toolbox talks and pre-lift briefings • Carry out daily checks on cranes, hoists and lifting tackle • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks Requirements: • Ability to read lift plans and rigging diagrams • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear Pay around $3,700 per month, based on your experience.
