Join our team: we are hiring an argon welding operator in Stephens County, Oklahoma. Your main tasks: • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Clean joints with acetone and a dedicated stainless wire brush • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool • Back-purge pipe joints with argon so the root does not oxidise • Grind, blend and polish finished welds to a clean finish • Keep the arc length and travel speed consistent You should have: • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard • Comfortable working off scaffolds and in tight spaces • Aware of PPE, fume extraction and hot-work safety Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
