Join our team: we are hiring a wheel loader operator in Douglas County, Illinois. The job is on a busy construction site. Your main tasks: • Keep a safe distance from excavation edges and overhead lines • Grease the pins, bushings and slew ring at the start of each shift • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Excavate trenches and foundations to the marked depths and grade levels What we are looking for: • Awareness of site safety, PPE and lifting procedures • Willing to work at remote sites and mines on a roster • Understanding of safe digging near underground services Part-time with flexible hours.
