Immediate opening: industrial painter (Iowa)

Vacancy available: we are hiring an industrial painter in Monroe County, Iowa. You will work in a factory paint shop. Day-to-day duties: • Mix and tint paint to match colour swatches • Carry out snagging and touch-ups before handover • Prep and prime metal, treating rust with red-oxide primer • Apply primer, undercoat and two topcoats with brush and roller • Mask off windows, skirting and fittings with tape and sheeting • Work safely from ladders, scaffolding and mobile towers Requirements: • Own brushes and basic hand tools • Able to mix and colour-match paints accurately • Able to read colour schedules and follow a finish spec Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough.
