Join our team: gas appliance installer (Illinois)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a gas appliance installer in Johnson County, Illinois. On a typical shift you will connect combi boilers, water heaters and gas cookers to the supply; set and adjust regulator outlet pressure with a gauge; carry out tightness (pressure) tests with a manometer and lock off the supply; check every joint for leaks with soapy water and leak-detection spray; braze copper gas lines and weld carbon-steel pipe joints; run polyethylene (PE) service pipe and electrofusion-weld the joints. What we are looking for: • 2+ years' experience on domestic and commercial gas installations • Sound knowledge of gas safety regulations and pressure testing • Own hand tools and pipe wrenches 4+ years on the tools preferred.
