Rough terrain crane operator — Berkshire County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a rough terrain crane operator in Berkshire County, Massachusetts. You will work on a high-rise tower crane. Requirements: • Sound knowledge of rigging and slinging • Current medical and eyesight certificate You will park up the crane, stow the jib and isolate at end of shift; read and interpret the load chart before every lift; grease the slew ring and inspect the wire rope for broken strands; set up the outriggers and level the crane on firm ground; fit the counterweights and check the ground bearing pressure; hoist, slew and lower loads smoothly and under control. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. Six days a week, one day off. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Walk-in interviews this week.
