Blocklayer wanted in Genesee County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a blocklayer in Genesee County, New York. Day to day you will pointing and repointing weathered mortar joints; buttering the perpends and tapping each brick down to the gauge; erecting and working off trestles and scaffold lifts; bedding in air bricks, weep holes and wall starters. Requirements: • Proven experience laying facing and engineering bricks • Able to read construction drawings and setting-out marks • Sound knowledge of mortar mixes and bonds (stretcher, English, Flemish) At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
