Finishing presser — Montgomery County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a finishing presser in Montgomery County, Alabama. You will be based in a busy laundry. The role involves meet the daily piece target without damaging garments; press open seams, darts and pleats during stitching; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board; set the iron temperature to suit cotton, silk, wool and synthetic fabrics. You should have: • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • Aware of steam iron safety and basic machine upkeep • Physically fit to lift bundles and handle repetitive work Rotating shifts.
