Immediate opening: refrigeration installation technician (Alabama)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Macon County, Alabama. You will be based in an AC and refrigeration showroom. Your main tasks: • Charge systems with refrigerant (R134a, R410a, R404a) to the correct weight • Wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays • Install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets • Read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges • Trace electrical circuits with a multimeter • Trace leaks with an electronic detector and soap solution Ideal candidate: • Willing to work at heights and inside cold rooms • Able to read wiring diagrams and pressure-temperature charts • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade At least 5 year(s) in a similar role.
