Vacancy available: we are hiring a horizontal milling machine operator in Jackson County, Georgia. The role involves: • Read engineering drawings and GD&T to plan the machining sequence • Load and edit CNC programs (G-code) at the Fanuc/Siemens control • Select and fit end mills, face mills and slot drills into collets and arbors • Mount workpieces in machine vices, clamps and fixtures and check for square Requirements: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Knows feeds, speeds and tooling for steel, aluminium and cast iron • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery Full-time, day shift.
