We are recruiting: sewing machine operator (Mississippi)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a sewing machine operator in Adams County, Mississippi. You will be based on an export house sewing floor. Ideal candidate: • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines You will change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes; sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line. At least 2 year(s) in a similar role. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
