Machine operator wanted in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator in Hoonah-Angoon Census Area, Alaska. You will work in a CNC machine shop. The role involves: • Change tooling, dies and moulds during product changeovers • Clear jams and remove rejected parts from the line • Record output, scrap and downtime on the production sheet • Measure parts with vernier calliper, micrometer and go/no-go gauges • Report breakdowns to the maintenance fitter • Follow lockout-tagout before cleaning or clearing the machine You should have: • Good attention to detail and steady hands • Willing to work rotating day and night shifts • Comfortable using vernier, micrometer and gauges Part-time with flexible hours.
