Immediate opening: we are hiring a confectioner in Harris County, Texas. What we are looking for: • Understanding of food-safety and HACCP basics • Food handler / hygiene certificate • Basic cake decorating and piping skills On the job you will handle: • Rotate stock and follow FIFO on raw materials • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Score the top of loaves before baking • Weigh and mix flour, yeast, water and salt to the day's recipe • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Roll out short-crust and biscuit dough Freshers welcome — about 1 years of practice is enough.
