Argon welder — Apa

Now hiring: we are hiring an argon welder in Apa, Benue State. You will be based in a stainless steel kitchen-equipment unit. Day-to-day duties: • Set the argon flow on the flowmeter and check the hose for leaks • Tack weld parts to hold the fit-up before the final run • Read welding symbols and joint details off the fabrication drawing • Strike the arc with high-frequency start and control heat with the foot pedal • Inspect welds visually for porosity, cracks and undercut • Feed filler rod by hand while holding a steady weld pool You should have: • Able to pass a weld test on the spot • Able to TIG weld stainless steel and aluminium to a neat standard At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. Meals and transport allowance provided. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
