Urgent requirement: machine operator (earthworks) (Indiana)

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a machine operator (earthworks) in Brown County, Indiana. You will be based at a drainage and utilities contractor. Day to day you will work to laser, GPS or 2D/3D machine-control guidance; lift and place pipes, manholes and precast sections with the bucket and chains; dig and trim drainage channels and attenuation ponds; carry out daily greasing and check hydraulic oil, coolant and fuel levels; load spoil into tippers and dumpers cleanly without spillage; keep the cab clean and oil-free and report defects promptly. Ideal candidate: • Good awareness of underground services and exclusion zones • Own PPE — safety boots, hi-vis and hard hat • Reliable, punctual and able to get to site 4+ years on the tools preferred.
