Join our team: we are hiring a presser in Denton County, Texas. You will work at a textile finishing unit. You will hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing; operate the steam press and vacuum table to finish garments; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; spray water or starch to set sharp creases on trousers and shirts; keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; shape collars, cuffs and lapels using a tailor's ham and sleeve board. You should have: • Comfortable standing long shifts in a hot, humid environment • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine Six days a week, one day off.
