Urgent requirement: we are hiring a flatlock machine operator in Wilson County, Kansas. The job is on a ready-made garment production line. On the job you will handle: • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line • Clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Sew bartacks and buttonholes and attach buttons where required What we are looking for: • Good eyesight and steady hands for fine, accurate stitching • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently At least 1 year(s) in a similar role.
