Rebar fixer — Kent County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a rebar fixer in Kent County, Texas. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. Day-to-day duties: • Keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Cut rebar to length with a bar cutter or angle grinder • Lap and splice bars to the specified lap length • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Assemble column and beam cages on the bench You should have: • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) • Proven experience as a steel fixer on building or civil sites • Own basic tools such as pliers, tie hook, tape and level 6+ years on the tools preferred.
