Bulldozer operator — Greene County

Join our team: we are hiring a bulldozer operator in Greene County, Iowa. You will work in an open-cast mine. Your main tasks: • Stockpile and spread material to the required levels • Check for underground cables and services before digging • Backfill and compact soil around pipes and foundations • Level and grade the road sub-base to the surveyor's pegs and string lines • Read site drawings and follow the batter and slope profiles • Load trucks with spoil, aggregate and overburden using the bucket Ideal candidate: • Able to operate excavator, loader and dozer confidently • Able to read levels, pegs and basic site drawings At least 6 year(s) in a similar role. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
