Sample machinist wanted in Nottingham

Now hiring: we are hiring a sample machinist in Nottingham, England. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Ideal candidate: • Can hit the daily piece-rate target consistently • Hands-on with single needle, overlock and flatlock machines You will meet the hourly piece-rate target without dropping quality; clear thread jams, re-time the looper and oil the machine before the shift; attach collars, cuffs, plackets, pockets and waistbands as per the spec sheet; thread the machine, wind bobbins and balance top and bottom tension; operate single-needle lockstitch, overlock and flatlock machines on a production line; topstitch and edge-stitch with the correct margin for a clean finish.
