Bread baker — Pike County

Join our team: we are hiring a bread baker in Pike County, Mississippi. You will be based in a hotel pastry kitchen. On the job you will handle: • Keep work surfaces and equipment clean to food-safety standards • Shape loaves, rolls, baguettes and buns by hand • Decorate cakes with icing, fondant and fresh cream • Knead and develop dough by hand and in the spiral mixer • Monitor oven temperature and baking time for each batch • Check finished products for colour, crumb and weight Requirements: • Knowledge of dough fermentation and proving • Basic cake decorating and piping skills Full-time with occasional weekends.
