Precision welder — Gaston County

Immediate opening: we are hiring a precision welder in Gaston County, North Carolina. On the job you will handle: • Set the amperage on the machine and modulate the current with the foot pedal • Inspect welds for porosity, undercut and lack of fusion • Back-purge stainless pipe to stop root oxidation (sugaring) • Control heat input so thin sheet does not warp • Clean the base metal with a stainless brush and acetone before welding Requirements: • Own basic hand tools and PPE • Sound knowledge of shielding gases and tungsten selection • Able to weld thin-gauge sheet without burn-through Pay around $5,400 per month, based on your experience.
