Milling machine operator • Slough, England

Vacancy available: we are hiring a milling machine operator in Slough, England. Day-to-day duties: • Machine slots, pockets, flats, keyways and contours to drawing • Monitor tool wear and change blunt inserts and cutters • Set spindle speeds and feed rates to suit the material and cutter • Keep in-process inspection records and log production counts • Hold close tolerances down to ±0.02 mm What we are looking for: • Able to grind and set HSS cutters • Safety conscious and comfortable wearing PPE around moving machinery • ITI/NCVT certificate in machinist or turner trade Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough. Full-time, day shift. On-the-job training and a clear path to grow. We offer £13 per hour plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
