Immediate opening: we are hiring a cement mason in Shelleng, Adamawa State. You will work on a high-rise slab pour. Ideal candidate: • ITI in masonry or civil work an added advantage • Hands-on with poker vibrators, power floats and concrete mixers • Comfortable working at heights and on scaffolds On the job you will handle: • Fix and tie reinforcement bars and mesh as per the bar bending schedule • Strip and clean formwork once the concrete has gained strength • Lay PCC blinding and the damp-proof membrane over the prepared subgrade • Cure slabs by ponding, wet hessian or curing compound for the required days • Screed and level slabs to the marked dead level and falls • Erect and align timber and steel shuttering before each pour Rotating shifts.
