Bar bender and fixer — Botetourt County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a bar bender and fixer in Botetourt County, Virginia. The job is on a civil engineering bridge and roads site. On the job you will handle: • Lift and land prefabricated cages with the crane and banksman • Lay and tie mesh for slabs and ground-bearing floors • Read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift What we are looking for: • Comfortable working at height and in deep excavations • Aware of concrete cover and tolerance requirements Rotating shifts.
