Shuttering carpenter — Sumaila

Join our team: we are hiring a shuttering carpenter in Sumaila, Kano State. The job is on a metro and tunnel project. Requirements: • Confident working at height on scaffold and decking • Hands-on with timber, plywood and system formwork • Knows de-shuttering times and concrete curing The role involves assemble and align system formwork panels (Doka, Peri, MIVAN); repair damaged plywood and timber shutters; fix soldiers, walers and tie rods to resist the concrete pressure; strike and strip the formwork once the concrete has cured; check alignment with spirit level, plumb bob and string line. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. ₦65,000 per month, negotiable for the right hands. A stable, long-term role with a friendly crew. Full-time with occasional weekends.
