Head butcher — Taylor County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a head butcher in Taylor County, Florida. You will be based in a meat processing plant. On the job you will handle: • Portion steaks, chops and cutlets to the ordered weights • Stuff and link fresh sausages with casings • Sharpen and hone knives on a steel and whetstone • Break down beef, mutton and chicken carcasses into primal cuts • Keep HACCP hygiene records and sanitise the block and tools Ideal candidate: • Able to use a band saw, grinder and sausage filler • Physically fit to lift carcasses and stand all day Full-time with occasional weekends.
