Hand presser wanted in Haines Borough

We are recruiting: we are hiring a hand presser in Haines Borough, Alaska. The role involves keep the boiler topped up and hold steady steam pressure; clean and descale the iron soleplate and steam vents; remove creases, wrinkles and packing folds with a steam iron; sort bundles by fabric, shade and order number; hang or fold pressed garments and pass them to packing. You should have: • Able to operate a steam press, vacuum table and fusing machine • Sound knowledge of fabric types and correct heat settings • A keen eye for scorch, shine and uneven creases $4,700 per month, negotiable for the right hands.
