Vacancy available: we are hiring a lifting rigger in Sumter County, Florida. The role involves: • Secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists • Coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller • Attach wire rope and chain slings to loads using shackles and hooks • Inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use • Set up spreader bars and lifting beams for long or awkward loads Requirements: • Sound knowledge of working load limits and sling angles • Physically fit to handle heavy chains, slings and shackles Six days a week, one day off. $3,600 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
