Urgent requirement: we are hiring a steel fixer in Franklin County, Texas. The job is at a high-rise construction project. Ideal candidate: • Able to read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules • Valid site safety card and PPE (helmet, boots, gloves) You will lap and splice bars to the specified lap length; fix cover blocks and spacers to maintain concrete cover; keep the rebar stacked, tagged and free of mud and loose rust; set out starter bars and column dowels for the next lift; read reinforcement drawings and bar bending schedules; check bar diameter, spacing and cover before the pour. 2+ years on the tools preferred.
