Immediate opening: refrigeration service engineer (Vermont)

Vacancy available: we are hiring a refrigeration service engineer in Orleans County, Vermont. You will work in a commercial cold storage facility. What we are looking for: • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints The role involves braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; check oil level and top up or change the compressor oil; read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges. Freshers welcome — about 3 years of practice is enough. We offer $3,700 per month plus benefits. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Six days a week, one day off.
