Immediate opening: we are hiring a commis chef in Tuscola County, Michigan. Day to day you will follow cleaning schedules and wash down work surfaces; cook dishes to order on the grill, fry and sauté stations; prepare stocks, sauces and soups from scratch; check fryer oil and change it when it breaks down; manage the tandoor and skewer kebabs; keep the station clean and sanitised throughout the shift. Ideal candidate: • Able to read and follow recipes and dockets • Food hygiene / FoSTaC certificate • Willing to work split shifts, weekends and public holidays 6+ years on the tools preferred.
