Dogger — Cherokee County

Great opportunity: we are hiring a dogger in Cherokee County, Texas. You will work at a shipyard. What we are looking for: • Sharp eye for safety and hazard awareness • Able to inspect and reject defective lifting gear On a typical shift you will establish exclusion zones and keep workers clear of the lift area; rig and lift structural steel, precast panels and machinery into position; secure loads with turnbuckles, chain blocks and lever hoists; coordinate tandem and multi-crane lifts with the signaller; inspect slings, shackles and eyebolts for wear, kinks and cracks before each use.
