Immediate opening: we are hiring a panel beater in Orleans County, Vermont. Ideal candidate: • Own basic hand tools (hammers, dollies, files) • 2+ years' experience as a panel beater or in a body shop Day to day you will mask off glass, rubbers and trim before painting; straighten chassis and frames on a jig bench with pulling chains; buff and polish the finished panel to remove imperfections; feather-edge old paint and prime bare metal before respray; replace damaged doors, wings, bonnets and bumpers; measure and set panel gaps for an even shut line. Freshers welcome — about 5 years of practice is enough. $3,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off.
