Refrigeration installation technician — Smith County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a refrigeration installation technician in Smith County, Tennessee. You will be based in an HVAC service company. Day to day you will read suction and discharge pressures on the manifold gauges; wire up thermostats, contactors and overload relays; install and commission cold rooms, walk-in freezers and display cabinets; braze copper pipework and joints with an oxy-acetylene torch; recover refrigerant gas before opening a sealed system; measure the compressor motor's amperage draw with a clamp meter. Ideal candidate: • ITI or diploma in refrigeration / RAC trade • Able to braze copper and silver-solder joints • Comfortable handling refrigerant gases and gauge manifolds Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
