Cnc setter-operator wanted in Darlington County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a cnc setter-operator in Darlington County, South Carolina. You will work in a tool room. You should have: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Able to read engineering drawings and GD&T Day to day you will check diameters and lengths against the spec sheet; measure finished parts with micrometers and vernier calipers; set tool offsets and establish work zero (G54); write and edit G-code programs at the control; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; run facing, turning, boring, grooving and threading cycles. Freshers welcome — about 4 years of practice is enough. $180 per day, negotiable for the right hands. Overtime paid at a premium rate. Part-time with flexible hours. Walk-in interviews this week.
