Car painter — Bradford

Join our team: we are hiring a car painter in Bradford, England. You will be based at an accident repair centre. Your main tasks: • Apply etch primer to aluminium and galvanised panels • Sand and feather-edge damaged panels before painting • Wipe down panels with degreaser and a tack cloth before spraying • Apply body filler and block-sand to a smooth contour • Apply primer, base coat and clear coat with an HVLP spray gun You should have: • 2+ years' experience in automotive refinishing • Comfortable working in a spray booth with full PPE • Skilled with HVLP and gravity-feed spray guns 3+ years on the tools preferred. Full-time with occasional weekends. Overtime paid at a premium rate. We offer £125 per day plus benefits. Walk-in interviews this week.
