Escalator technician wanted in Pike County

We are recruiting: we are hiring an escalator technician in Pike County, Kentucky. Ideal candidate: • ITI in electrical/mechanical or an equivalent trade certificate • Working knowledge of EN 81 / IS 14665 lift safety standards • Good head for heights for pit and car-top work The role involves test buffers, final limit switches and the emergency brake; top up the oil and bleed the cylinder on hydraulic lifts; replace worn sheaves, rollers, contactors and relays; run load and overload tests with test weights; rope up the traction machine and reeve the hoisting cables; fill in the service logbook and statutory inspection paperwork. $4,200 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Full-time, day shift. Walk-in interviews this week.
