Garment machinist — Warren County

Urgent requirement: we are hiring a garment machinist in Warren County, Ohio. You will be based in a small denim manufacturing unit. Day-to-day duties: • Press open seams or use a folder/binder attachment for bound edges • Change needles, presser feet and folders to suit the fabric and operation • Inspect each piece for skipped stitches, broken thread and needle holes • Set armholes and sleeves, easing the cap so there are no puckers Ideal candidate: • Knows how to set tension, change needles and do basic machine maintenance • 2+ years on industrial sewing machines in a garment factory At least 3 year(s) in a similar role. We offer $4,900 per month plus benefits. Full-time with occasional weekends. Walk-in interviews this week.
