Crawler dozer operator — Washington County

Vacancy available: we are hiring a crawler dozer operator in Washington County, Nebraska. You will be based on a road construction project. The role involves: • Push-load motor scrapers during bulk earthmoving • Carry out pre-start checks on tracks, hydraulics, coolant and engine oil • Form embankments and batter slopes to the required angle • Maintain haul roads and keep drainage falls clear • Strip topsoil and stockpile it for later reuse You should have: • Good understanding of cut-and-fill and batter slopes • Able to read grade stakes, drawings and site levels Freshers welcome — about 2 years of practice is enough.
