Fettler — Johnston County

We are recruiting: we are hiring a fettler in Johnston County, Oklahoma. Day to day you will skim slag and dross off the melt before tapping and pouring; cut off risers, runners and gates with a grinder or torch; apply mould coatings and dress the mould cavity; tap the furnace and transfer the metal to the ladle; operate the sand muller and the reclamation plant. You should have: • Experience working in a ferrous or non-ferrous foundry • Willing to wear full PPE such as heat-resistant apron, spats and visor • Keen eye for casting defects during inspection 2+ years on the tools preferred. Part-time with flexible hours. $4,800 per month, negotiable for the right hands. Walk-in interviews this week.
