Now hiring: we are hiring a press machine operator in Cobb County, Georgia. The role involves: • Watch for cracks, burrs, wrinkles and double-hits on parts • Adjust press stroke, shut height and tonnage settings • Apply die lubricant and keep the tooling clean • Set up and change stamping dies and tooling • Feed blanks into the die and remove formed parts • Run the press using two-hand controls and foot pedal safely Ideal candidate: • Can use vernier calipers, micrometers and go/no-go gauges • Able to read engineering drawings and job cards • Basic understanding of metal grades and thicknesses 5+ years on the tools preferred.
