Immediate opening: lathe programmer-operator (Idaho)

We are recruiting: we are hiring a lathe programmer-operator in Gem County, Idaho. You will be based in a tool room. Ideal candidate: • Comfortable standing for long shifts and lifting up to 20 kg • ITI / NCVT certificate in the machinist (turner) trade preferred • Working knowledge of G-code and M-code On a typical shift you will change worn carbide inserts and monitor tool wear; adjust feeds and speeds to control the surface finish; read engineering drawings and interpret GD&T tolerances; watch the machine through the cycle and clear alarms or crashes. 1+ years on the tools preferred. Performance bonus on top of base pay. Six days a week, one day off. Contact us to fix an interview.
